Gloaming by Anthony Ward
Gloaming
It is,
One wonders,
At this period of the day,
That everything excels within contemplation,
As the silence sways within mere gestures of nature
Compromised by what once sufficed before.
When marvels discern residence within your conscious posterity
In order that our lives become more significant with nature
And less significant within ourselves.
Where we blend in with the world,
Listening with intent,
Whilst attending our attention,
As we forget about what may have been,
And remember where and what we are.
