Ocean Beach in San Francisco
Somewhere in heaven
You wait for me
Sitting on an angel's bench
Beside a golden sea.
Although I miss you
I know you are healed
That's worth the pain
Inside that I feel.
I dream of you
Your dimpled smile
You're healthy now
And can walk a mile.
One day we will sit
On a puffy cloud of white
In a sky of azure blue
As we bask in God's light.
Somewhere in Heaven
Souls reunited
Words without sound
Eternity to spend together
Hearts reignited.
