William Feller by Michael Ceraolo
William Feller
It's often said life imitates art,
but the reverse is equally true, if not more so:
fifty years before Kinsella thought of it
I carved a baseball diamond on an Iowa farm
My reason wasn't mystical, but practical:
to give Bobby a place to play organized ball
once he became a teenager
I think you could say it worked out okay
